San Sebastian is a great place to learn how to surf. We are blessed with Zurriola beach at our doorstep- a beach that caters to learning surfers but also offers more than enough for experienced surfers. In addition to a general Spanish course in the mornings, take 1 hour daily of surfing class from Monday through Friday, with a maximum of 6 students per instructor. All materials are provided (board, wetsuit, insurance and a hot shower). Equipment rental can be extended easily if required.

En Academia Hispánica ofrecemos dos cursos en los que podrás acercarte al mundo del flamenco desde su propia cultura sin dejar de aprender español: ‘Español y Baile Flamenco’ y ‘Español y Guitarra Flamenca’.
En las clases de baile, al ser clases eminentemente prácticas, tendrás la posibilidad de aprender en profundidad los bailes flamencos más importantes durante tu estancia en la escuela. Trabajarás desde la colocación del cuerpo y los brazos hasta coreografías avanzadas de distintos palos del flamenco (soleá, seguiriyas, bulerías…). También sabrás llevar el compás, fundamental para dominar el baile del flamenco, aprendiendo contratiempos y ritmos.
Si lo que te gusta es la guitarra flamenca, este es el curso ideal para aprender las diferentes técnicas que existen: guitarra solista, guitarra de acompañamiento al cante y guitarra de acompañamiento al baile. Para ello te ofrecemos clases de todos los niveles. Para llevar a cabo las clases de baile y guitarra contamos con la colaboración de la escuela de mayor prestigio en Córdoba.
La duración de los dos cursos es dos semanas mínimo y combinan clases de español intensivas (20 horas semanales) con clases prácticas diarias de baile o guitarra flamenca.

Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) : Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is the written language of Arabic. In its classical form it is the language of the Holy Koran. In its everyday use it is the language of newspapers and is also widely heard on radio and television. MSA is a' used living' language used by educated people and intellectuals.
Classes focus on the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, combined with aspects of local culture.
Our MSA program is tailored to meet the needs of all students interested in learning or improving Standard Arabic. It provides them with the necessary knowledge and training to acquire full and clear understanding of the Arabic language system. The MSA program consists of three levels of studies; each level is divided into three successive and progressive sublevels. The system of levels in this program is structured according to the U.S. university system and to the guidelines of our European and international partner institutions.
Our material and books used are : “Al-Kitaab fii Ta'allum al-'Arabiyya”, which is our main textbook, “Ahlan Wa Sahlan” and “Al-Arabiya al-Mu’asira”.

You study for four lessons every morning or afternoon from Monday to Friday.
You study in groups of an average of 8 and a maximum of 12 participants.
In multinational groups, you will learn a lot about foreign cultures.
You have sufficient free time for self study, sightseeing or relaxing.
The main emphasis is placed on improving your general German and your communication skills. Lessons in grammar and conversation help you with syntax and vocabulary building. You practice formal and informal letter writing, and work on listening and reading comprehension.
Each group is taught by two teachers a day in order to ensure more varied and stimulating instruction. Participants become familiar with different individual styles of teaching, teacher personalities and variations in pronunciation of modern German.
5 lessons (2-3 times) per week of cultural and leisure programme included: e.g. Vienna guided tours; talks and videos about Austrian music, art, history, literature and architecture; Viennese Waltz course; parties; sports.

Contemporary Florence - considers not only Florence’s prestigious past, but also emphasizes the constant contrast between traditional and modern aspects of the city.
Florence from Middle Ages to Renaissance- regards the period from the 12th to the 16th centuries, focusing on the vital role of Florence in international trade, monetary system and rising banking system.
Italian History- offers an overall view of Italian history from the national unity (1861) to the present day, placing emphasis on Fascism, the Second World War, the birth of the Republic and the economic growth of the country from an agricultural system to advanced industrialization.
Social History from 1940 to 2000- Parallel to the Italian History course, encompasses anthropological and sociological aspects, such as the many regional differences and the profound transformation related to culture, family issues, consumers’ lifestyle, tastes and mentality — a profile of today’s Italy.

A practical Spanish and special cultural programme
This course is designed for mature students (+ 40). Among the participants we can find teachers, academics, those who spend part of the year or their holidays in Spain. Classes are in small groups with the emphasis on oral expression, as well as social and cultural aspects rather than grammar analysis and written skills. - A visit to a vineyard:

20 hours of Italian in the morning + 6 hours jewellery making in the afternoon per week
Elisabetta Tognetti, known for her signature “microsculpture” jewellery, teaches the art of jewellery making in her studio outside of Florence. A distinguished jeweler and practicing goldsmith, Tognetti guides and instructs students on traditional jewellery making and techniques, such as embossing, chiseling and engraving, based on their previous knowledge and future aspirations. With 20 years of experience, she imparts on her students the skills necessary to create unique pieces as well as invaluable techniques that she learned from her teachers such as Bino Bini and Giampaolo Babetto.

Thanks to the experience of our teachers, our students can know and appreciate the masterpieces of the greatest Venetian artists in painting, sculpture and architecture from the middle-ages to the contemporary age.
This experience will be unforgettable, since all the artistic works can be seen in the places they were designed for by Carpaccio, Bellini, Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese, Tiepolo, Sansovino, Palladio, Canova, Scarpa and many others.
This course takes place from Monday to Friday and the lessons are held in the morning or in the afternoon for three hours (15 hours a week), according to the opening hours of museums, palaces, Great Schools that are included in the weekly programme (presented during the first day at school).
Since the lessons are held in Italian and since they deal specifically with Venetian art, history, culture and traditions, an intermediate level of knowledge is required (A2 of the European framework).
All the tickets for the entrances at the museums, churches, etc. are included.

This course combines an Intensive language course in the mornings with a serie of four short workshops, each of which introduces students to a different set of artistic skills, which are:
a) Painting Ceramics Workshop
b) Glass-fusing Workshop
c) Pottery Workshop
d) Sculpture Workshop
These workshops can be scheduled to take place all in one week, over two weeks, or over 4 weeks. Each workshop is scheduled to last between 1 and 1,5 hour. All materials are provided and students can take their works of art home.

Together with the booking confirmation we send out the official festival programme. If you are interested in a specific opera or any other music event, we will be happy to book tickets in advance.
An afternoon/evening activity programme based on the festival complements the course. Master Class, Over 50s
This is a course aimed at students over the age of 50. Lessons (which take place in small groups of 6 - 8 students) are designed for learning everyday Italian with a greater focus on spoken language than on grammar and written work. Teachers are aware of the specific needs of older students, of their different learning speeds, and their greater interest in the cultural aspects of Italian, such as customs, festivals, history and literature. The courses last for two weeks with 3 hours of General Italian a day and a specific programme of specially-designed activities and excursions for the over 50s. The course programme includes being picked up from Bolognam airport, a welcome drink, 15 lessons a week and a wide range of cultural activities for two days a week, including Italian cookery courses and wine testing sessions. The cost of the course includes entrance to all museums, an evening at the theatre, dinner with the teacher, and a day trip (Saturday). We are also happy to make reservations at hotels or “Agriturismo” farm accommodation for you.

Con estos paseos y rutas descubrirán el impresionante entorno natural de este parque nacional. El espacio protegido de Sierra Nevada fue declarado parque nacional en el año 1999. Es, con sus lagunas y glaciares, una zona llena de contrastes. En él se encuentran los dos picos más altos de la Península Ibérica, el Mulhácen (3.482 m) y el Veleta (3.392 m).
