The Standard General English Programme offers levels from Elementary to Advanced with 15 hours of lessons per week (900 minutes). Core textbooks are supplemented by a wide variety of authentic materials. Communication skills are developed through speaking, listening and pronunciation practice with pair/group work particularly encouraged. Please note that there is an extra high season charge of €35 EUR per week from 28 June to 24 September 2010 (not included in quoted price).

The combination programme combines the Standard General English Programme with individual one-to-one lessons. This programme allows the student to follow the general syllabus with a group in the morning and to tailor the individual sessions to their own particular interests and language learning needs. Please note that there is an extra high season charge of €20 EUR per week from 28 June to 24 September 2010 (not included in quoted price).
Intensive English	30 lessons	€225
Registration Fee: €50 Lesson Duration: 45 minutes Course Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri Course Times: 9:30 - 15:00 Minimum Age: 17 Average Class Size: 8 students Max Class Size: 15 students Course Materials: Not Included Course Books: Not Included Course Certificate: Course Focus: Reading, writing, listening, speaking. The Intensive Course offers levels from Elementary to Advanced with 22.5 hours of lessons per week (1350 minutes). Each morning, you will complete 3 hours of the Standard General English Programme while in the afternoon there will be an extra 90 minutes of small group tuition. An emphasis is placed here on helping you to communicate more fluently and clearly in English. The programme is concentrated but varied and is designed for those who wish to make rapid progress in English. Please note that there is an extra high season charge of €25 EUR per week from 28 June to 24 September 2010 (not included in quoted price).

General English with Business is designed specifically for those students who are looking to improve their general English language skills while at the same time combining it with a business elective whether for work or study purposes. A variety of business topics will be covered in small group classes in the afternoons.

Preparation for the Cambridge First Certificate Examination is a highly intensive programme and will require private study in addition to class work.

This is a very intensive programme that focuses on preparation for the Cambridge Advanced Examination. All topics in the exam are covered with a particular emphasis on exam technique.

Placement Fee: None HSI English Language School provides year-round accommodation in modern self-catering apartments. The student apartments are located in the city centre only a 2-minute walk from the school and are available on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Apartments are shared with either Irish or other international students. Rooms are either single or twin with access to a bathroom and each bedroom has private study facilities and an internet point. All apartments have a comfortable living room and modern kitchen.

Placement Fee: None Staying with a host family maximises language practice and also provides an ideal introduction to Irish culture. All our families are located within a short bus ride from HSI English Language School. Students of the same nationality are not accommodated together unless by prior arrangement. Our host families provide full board accommodation and you will have a single bedroom in the family home with access to study and laundry facilities.
